Absolutely amazing, the caves, stalagmites and stalactites are stunning. The audible talk though the caves are very interesting and informative. Photo just doesn't do the place justice. Absolute must if visiting Cheddar.
Highly recommended.
What an amazing experience. The audio guide is a bonus. The prices are a bit expensive in my opinion, but what you see when you’re inside the cave is totally worth it. The cave is so amazing I can’t describe in my words how beautiful it is.
I don’t regret spending money on something I enjoyed so much.
When you buy a ticket, it includes 4 other attractions to attend.
I regret wasting my time on going on to Jacob’s ladder, lookout tower and cliff-top walk. (Nothing to see there)
An amazing cave with some stunning rock formations. A free audio tour gives good back ground into the caves and their history. Helpful guides are also very knowledgeable about the caves.
Loved visiting this cave. You pick up an audio guide and scan the codes as you head around. You are able to explore the cave at your own pace and it is not too overcrowded in there as you head straight in upon arrival. Recommend visiting here if you are in the area.
Large cave with spectacular speleothems. Wide comfortable path in most places. Audio guides available providing loads of interesting informations.
Great visit for the family. Have not been there since I was a kid.
We couldnt visit Cheddar without exploring the caves. They were amazing. Well worth a visit. We also walked /struggled up Jacobs Ladder and were so pleased we did. Wonderful views. Proud of ourselves too when we reached the top.
We must mention Eddie the staff member who sold us our tickets. He was so helpful and informative. Many thanks to you Eddie.
A superb experience. I really enjoyed the cave - the audio guide was interesting and engaging. I absolutely adored the scenery. However, IT IS EXTREMELY COLD! I would suggest that you should take a sweater. I would love to go again - once in a lifetime opportunity.
